This place was a good match for my fleeting trip in Somerset with high value for money. They had tasty snacks available, which was a nice surprise during my stay. Check the cleanliness of the common areas when you arrive.

Just wrapped up a stay at Wingate in Somerset. The elevators were super helpful, and the breakfast had great options! However, we found the stairwells a bit dirty, which felt off when you first walked in.

Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with my stay. The cleanliness of my room was lacking, with stains on the bedding and a dirty bathroom mirror. Additionally, the breakfast options were extremely limited and didn’t cater to dietary restrictions, which was quite frustrating.

I had a pleasant stay at Wingate By Wyndham Somerset, where I found the staff to be exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The air conditioning unit in my room worked wonderfully, and the location was convenient for my travel needs.

Target audience travelers beware

The housekeeping staff were actually helpful and nice,, which is rare these days. I encountered quite a few rooms before finally finding one decent enough to stay in, but the big TV was a nice distraction during my long, cold night.

It was pricey for what we got, but tolerable.

We had a fun family getaway, especially enjoying the close proximity to several state parks for some hiking. The room was comfortable, and my cousin mentioned how grateful he was for the friendly staff who went above and beyond when we needed extra towels.

For dads, it would be great to have more variety in the breakfast options.

i had a wonderful stay at wingate. the staff was truly amazing, especially melissa, who helped us with our room issues. the location is great and close to restaurants. i also loved the fitness center, which was a nice touch for our trip.

Amazing staff made it worthwhile!

I stayed just one night and the staff was super helpful! They really went out of their way to fix our TV issues, which was kinda funny since it didn’t work twice! I loved the snack bar. it had some tasty options. Just wish the cleaning could've been a bit better, though.
